Not Just a Story {Herobrine x Reader} Chapter 6

You were silent and still for a few seconds, before you finally spoke.
"Promise?"
He stopped and turned his head, looking at you through the corner of his eye.
"Promise."

Chapter 6 - Minecraft shenanigans  

The rest of the week went along without a hitch. Jennifer, as expected, tried to get you after school for the whole of the week but you either were on the bus before she had a chance or Hero (He didn't agree with this newly found nickname, but you called him it anyway. Heh.) teleported you home.

It was now the weekend which, for the first time in a while, you were spending with someone. That someone was currently no where to be found, much to your dismay. You haven't seen him all day, so it's just been you most of the Saturday. You had nothing to do as you already finished your homework and you had cleaned your room. All this lead to you laying on the couch in your living room with a few Manga's in your hand. After much thought (and Manga reading), you decided that it was time to play Minecraft for a little while. You hadn't played it all week , so playing it now would surely get rid of your boredom. Pulling your lazy ass of the couch, you stood, grabbing your Manga and making your way up the stairs to your room. It was quiet, except for your footsteps. Where was Hero anyway? Oh well, he would show up sooner or later.

You entered your room, which was exactly as you left it. You put your Manga back where they belonged and sat in front of your computer, which was already on. Did you leave it on from this morning? Who knows. You wiggled the mouse to wake it up and clicked on the familiar block of dirt, opening up the programme. Logging in and entering your world, you were happy to see it was left just as you had left it before Herobrine appeared. You then began another session of adventure.

---{A while later}---

"I knew I should have crafted another sword before I left the house." You grumbled as your character ran through the darkened trees which were crawling with mobs. You couldn't afford to lose your stuff now, not when you had 21 diamonds (plus many other materials) in your inventory. You would have made another, if it weren't for the fact you had no wood to make sticks. On top of that, your hunger bar was rapidly depleting and you had eaten your last loaf of bread while in a huge cave you found a little while ago. At first look, it didn't look big. But you were soon proved wrong as it was HUGE! It also was loaded with materials. The only problem was that it was a death trap too. Mobs, Lava, sudden drops, the whole lot. You would have said you had gotten lucky at first, but your stupidity of not bringing damn sticks. After everything you have been through, you still make mistakes. You sighed, which turned into a yelp as a creeper appeared in your path. You tried to jump out of the way, but it let out a familiar hiss and then it exploded. You sat there for a few seconds, staring at the now red screen before slamming your fist down on your desk.
"FUCK!" You screamed. Fucking creepers! You didn't know where you died!

It took a few seconds for your temper to calm down enough for you to press the respawn button. By the time you respawned in your house, it was day. You could hear the mobs burning outside, that was a great sound to wake up to. Your wolf, Eddy you had named him, barked at you somewhat happily. You sighed, walking outside. You might be able to find your stuff again if you went into the direction of the cave-- wait is that a chest?

A single chest sat in front of your house. Obviously it wasn't there before, or you wouldn't have stopped. You blinked, trying to process this.
'Is it Herobrine?' you pondered as you approached it. You opened it up and a smile broke across your face. Everything you lost when you died was in the chest. Yes. Fuck yes. Luck is shining down on you today.

You grabbed all the stuff from the chest and returned to your house, placing the stuff happily in one of the chests in your house. Unless Notch was watching over this Server, this was the work of Herobrine. He must have been in here all day, which would explain his absence. You gathered up everything you needed, which consisted of Food, sticks, torches, a map, a clock, a few buckets, a Diamond Sword (now enchanted) and a Diamond Pickaxe (also enchanted) and walked outside. You paused for a second, before clicking on the chat box and typing "Thank you". You were about to set off when someone replied. The name you could make out as Herobrine, but it glitches out every now and then.
The reply was "You're welcome.". You smiled and were about to begin your journey towards the cave, when another message popped up.
"Would you like to join me?" It said. You became confused. Join you with what?
"With what?" You asked. A second later, a reply was sent.
"You'll see."
Raising an eyebrow, you suddenly got curious.
"Okay" You replied, slightly confused.
No reply showed after that. You were about to send another message when something happened, something quick. That was when a hand shot out of the computer and grabbed your T-shirt, pulling you forward towards the screen. You didn't even have time to scream at the sudden turn of events, since you were suddenly dragged through the screen.

And then everything went black.
